A Virginian by birth, Thomas began his design career in New York with Parish Hadley before re-locating to Sydney in 1990, where his eponymous firm, Thomas Hamel & Associates thrives. His projects worldwide reflect his style of natural yet sophisticated residences inspired by his international travels.  A unique sense of style and a strong feeling about proportion and good design have seen Thomas Hamel gain international recognition and a who’s who client list around the world. He also has a furniture line, the Hamel + Farrell Collection.
